I am a little proud. My first 3D printed Aluminum part arrived today..
This Technology is still expensive for a manifold.
300 Dollars including tax, but it is unique.

Looking forward to assemble it...

Looks great. I don’t think that price is really bad. Looks like it can be functional?

Hi Mike,

it will be fully functional. There will be an milled Adapter between the manifold and the ZENOAH engine. I will post some Pictures...

Absolutely stunning. Beautifully finished, there's even 'patina' on the leather seat! Bravo!

I used black shoe polish on the red seat :-)

Did you see I made a new windscreen design?
I now has the same shape than the seat. Looks more sporty now than the original one.

I also removed the rubber burr on the tires and made some brass housings for the dashboard instruments.

and not to forget, the 3D printed Aluminium manifold and stainless steel tube (not a fake exhaust).

Shall I send Jan some of those pictures?
Does anyone have his address?
How is he doing?

Michael I think you have a better shot at sending the photos to his son who is a member here and goes by the name gilmerhobby2 and ebay name stoneg3, Jan seems to leave the technology side of communications to his son. Last I spoke with Jan he said is doing fine.

I like the way you trimmed down the windshield.

I wanted to send him some pictures of my finished Gilmer and ask him to send me an autogramm back. But the prints I let made were not so nice so I forgot to do it in the end. Do you think I should try it?

Michael: I would send the picture to Jan. I'm sure he'd get immense enjoyment and satisfaction out of seeing such a wonderfully finished Gilmer Midget.

Michael I'm having a tough time finding the brake line for the caliper fitting, do have a link or size?
