dragster - "Frankenstine"

Post by QAman »

I'm going to call this dragster FRANKENSTINE. It was actually put together once and ran up and down the street. Then it was put on a shelf. I decided to scrap the origanal design and make a new front section with a stonger front axle and steering system and beef up the rear section around the rear end. it is still going to be a mixture of different dragsters of the past. Hence the name. Roger.

Looks like modern art to me.
Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together.

A couple more cuts and you could have a 1/4 scale diorama of Shirley Muldowneys crash.

Ouch! I called Oscor Goldmen and Igor and we all agreed it can go back together and be faster and stronger than before.

Well, I guess you can call it a roller again. I finally got time to get the rail back in one piece. New front tube section. Pacesetter style steering with adjustable turnbuckle, and a couple crossmembers and a stronger wing support in the rear. Still working on the body and a different brake/throttle setup. Roger.

Paul, thanks for your help on the front axle assembly. Pictures do beat a thousand words. Roger.
