New Quick Change Rear End

Post by acechassisco »

I will be showing the design and development stage of the new quick change rear end we have on the board. This rear end is on loan from a gentleman so i can get the specifications to reproduce it. It is a smaller rear design but will use the same ring and pinion gears from our bigger rears. This rear end is more to scale and is designed for our new midget that will be produced soon. When the mold is complete we will be using the lost wax investment casting process to produce the rears. Thanks for looking!!!

oh yes, those are the old don edmunds rears. I used to have those molds, but sold them. I also sold all those parts. However, the wall thicknesses were a little thin to run skellenger sized ring and pinions.

Wanted to give an update and tell you all what is to come very soon... We have purchased the production molds from John Foster (Quarter Mortar) ---Quick change rear end,Brake system,Drag wheels and Indy wheel molds. John is a great guy and a hell of a machinist so we knew what we was getting as per quality and design of products. With this purchase we plan on stocking parts for our projects and can supply other builders an outlet for high end parts for projects as well.

I am casting brake systems now for the sprint and drag builds we are doing

Closely following this; particularly the brake system, which will be perfect for my Quickdraw Grand National.
