We just came back from an amazing camping trip and at work this was waiting for me to finish off a great week. This IS the New Era Corvette that they used at trade shows and in their promo video. It is powered by a supercharged conley of course and the rear is a skellenger with the skellenger / Super mod 2 (wicked rare) conversion kit to make it independent rear. After all these years this thing has surfaced to be enjoyed by all. A truely amazing find. More (much better) pics to follow.

cant wait to start cleaning it up. Its actually in great shape for the age. I have some old trade show pics of it too. I will have to scan them. Been trying to score this one for years and it finally came through. The guy that had it was great. He did not really want to sell it. But it all worked out.

Mike secretly has a cristal ball that only locates rare 1/4 scales. And the same place he got the cristal ball from he picked up a money tree. LOL, nice score mike...

crystal ball is slowing down, need a new one :) But meanwhile, here are some real pics! Including a couple pics of pictures from a trade show from about 15 years ago with this car and the older version of the conley engine.

I've seen that car, at Chicago's RCHTA and iHobby shows as I recall. Maybe once at Pomona, too?

I'm the same way, when I first get a 1/4 scale I bring it all over the house so I could just gawk at it for hours, even when I go to the toilet. Yea Mike every one of those photos are a money shot, that Conley is something else.

Hey Mike it's great to see the car on your site. It's certainly better than under a sheet in the basment where it sat for so many years. I'm glad it's under your care now and part of such an awesome collection of vehicles. Enjoy !

Steve

thanks steve and thanks for coming to the site. Sorry i dont have a pic yet of it in the garage with the rest of the collection, but i just cant bring myself to bring it out there. I keep it on my kitchen counter so i can see it everyday and say HI! One day it may visit the garage and then i will get some pics. We also plan on making a video of it too.
