QRS stadium truck pair

Post by Mike Casey »

You could say its been a good week for me... :D

I just picked up this pair tonight on the way home. It still amazes me how much of this stuff is still out there just waiting to be picked up...

These are a pair of QRS trucks. A couple things that makes this lot special is one is the old original truck with the sand cast aluminum rear and the other one is the last version QRS made with a aluminum investment cast rear! Both are probably 8 out of 10 in condition. They came with all the literature, a manual! (did not even know they had one) and the invoice for one of them!!!! I got a box of spare parts to boot!!!

ohhhh yea!

dtw. there is definitely only one. The discrepancy in the pictures is due to the progress of the truck as it went through changes. But its all the same truck. I have begged Rick to sell it to me. I offered julie as a trade with no luck  Rick loves that truck. He even stores it in his bedroom. I cant even get away with that!

he has some other items like a set of each one of his wheels, cherry gt40 body. Custom QRS ST frame and a few other tidbits, but thats his only complete 1/4 scale. His truck was actually made by a gentleman that worked at Rancho suspension. The truck is even nicer in person...

Rick is probably one of the biggest 1/4 scale enthusiasts i have ever met, he loves this stuff sooooo much!
