Raco Indy

Post by formula1 »

Hello everyone. After getting some advice from QSL I found and purchased my first 1/4 scale to join my 1/10 collection. Raco Indy with custom paint, ricks wheels, hubs and some other small mods.

Thanks for the kind words. I ended up finding this one only 30 minutes from my house in minneapolis so it was a very lucky find. Unfortunately I paid what Mike said one would cost plus more for the ricks wheels, hubs and b&L tires. The owner knew what it was worth and was not in a hurry to sell. It has never been run but does have the radio installed. The body was painted by the owner who is a body shop owner so it is automotive paint. The colors are a bit 80's but the job is perfect. Eventually I plan on painting a second body in a differnt scheme. I will post some detail pics this weekend when I get home. Glad you guys like it, I have been admiring all of your cars for a while now. Thanks
