pacesetter 60's sprint car

Post by Mike Casey »

Just when i was liquidating some of my inventory, this gem fell in my lap. All original, near mint condition... VERY nice pacesetter 60s sprint. These were the first production quarterscale RC cars made in 1979!!!

I took a few shots next to my gilmer for size comparison.

Remember that date... 1979.

Regardless of who makes bogus claims to be the "originators" of quarter scale, this is the real deal.

yea, just when i made a promise to cut down.... Its OK though. Its a keeper. I only have one other of these new in the box that was never built. i struggled with myself trying to deciede to build it or not. This makes the decision easier.

I cant believe how hard these are to find! I know he sold quite a few too.

Jeff was definately the first. Qsac will say it was WCM then Raco, but those guys were atleast 6-7 years after pacesetter.
