came out great! That LRU sticker in the front corner REALLY sets it off! :o

Thanks, guys...

My motor is set quite a bit farther back in the car than the dunmmy scoop. That would be a good trick to get it to feed the carb, though.

I think I'm going to try to make some solid-disc "Centerline" type front wheels for it, too. Those would be a more period-correct detail. There's several patterns of 40-series T-Maxx rims like that (which are all approx 4" in diameter) that I can narrow up and ream out to fit a pair of flanged bearings for the front.

Very nice job. Mike that's the best looking body I have seen On a 1/4 scale funny car.

Bryant, those bodies are going to be available from LRU, thanks again to Mike Casey who had the mold made. I 'd bet one would drop right on your FC chassis.

Old-style nostalgia Funny Car match racing, anyone?

Eightman did his all in one pic... I cheated and took a photo of the Pomona drag strip. me at Dromo One (go kart track) and my old Q-Scale funny (note the Pacesetter front wheels)... all run through PhotoShop....

I remember Garry Shandling making this joke:
