Hi Guys, I'd like to share one of my projects with you.
I still have a lot to do on this Dalara & the Trailer really belongs to another project.....
I'm building a 1/4 scale sprint car to resemble a full size 1978 C.A.E. sprinter that we raced back then & will post some pics of it soon, but I thought I'd sit the Dalara on the trailer while I work on the other car.

Terrific package Rob. That trailer has come a long way since I last saw it in your garage. Did you ever discover who made those wheels, you threw on the Delara?

Thanks Bob, & no I haven't been able to find any info on the wheels. They are beautifully made & I've never seen another set like them. A bit like my Seers, the same as jay put up on the site a couple of weeks back. I will put some pics of those here shortly.

I ment to post some pics of our sprinter from back in 1978.
It's this car I'm building as a 1/4 scale copy.
I tried putting these pics up the other day, but they were all upside down.
I have sent Al a message, so I'm hoping he can help me fix them.
Sorry guys.
Robbie G

There are doubles but at least they're rotated. Very nice vintage photos, looks like the pacesetter:D

CALr...Rob's wife is terrific in allowing Rob to display his toys and yes that sprinter is on constant display. Rob has a couple of wonderful toys in his large lounge area. Rob I couldn't find the pic of the big unit under glass, that adds to the ambient light. Post one to show the members.

Emilio, thank you very much for rotating the pics. I must learn how to do that !
Hi CALr, yes, as Bob has said, I have a fantastic wife who enjoys having some of my toys on display.
"If I own it, I want to see it".... I'm not a collector who stores stuff in a dark cupboard or shed. Unless it's many sets of Goodyear ' sticker ' tyres,... otherwise I the toys on show.
Bob I will post a pic of "The Big Unit"....? shortly.
By the way, I'm well down the track with the bonnet & nose cone to match the 28 car above, also the fuel injection & trumpets on the Conley. I'll post some pics in ' Members Projects ' soon.

I know this doesn't belong here, but this is one of the other toys we have on display in our living room.
It really comes into it's own at night when we have the boat lights on....this & the sprint car are both great talking points amongst our friends.
The full size boat 84 foot, built in Brisbane Australia. The model is 3 & 1/2 foot.
We sold our own 50 footer late in 2016 & I miss it every day but not the costs to keep it.
Again I apologise if this is in the wrong section, but when Bob J asked me to put it up,.... I thought I'd share it.
