sprint collection

Post by sprintdog »

Today was a photo shoot of my collection and one of my air brushed T-Shirts on the far left end. The #79 car is WCM, #4 is a Tom Hughes car, #29 is Edelbrock.
The 4 chassis are works in progress.
Will be adding more pics of days gone by. sprintdog

That 29 car looks about as real as they get... I had to do a double take on that one.

Thanks Steve:
I've been around full size sprints since '77 and crewed for 6yrs. so I know dimentions of the car. I was a model car builder as a kid and payed attension to detail. The Edelbrock chassis extends outward from the motor plate just like World of Outlaws to acomadate those 410 steel big block motors and that was a design that was used by Doug Wolfgang ('86 Pabst Blue Ribbon Champion). I watched Wolfie race for yrs., so I painted my Edelbrock like his.

Thanks, Mike
I think u carry the checkered flag when it comes to collections and one day I might sell all mine except one and put a V-8 in it and run it on the clay.
