FE Dragster AMAZING

Post by Mike Casey »

Here are some pictures of a Custom FE dragster I purchased today locally. Every part of it is just about custom made. I believe this to be the jewel of my collection. Everything is just perfect on it!!! It also included molds to make a full body FE dragster and a slingshot dragster. Whoa, still cant believe it!!

Mark that built it is a hobbiest that really likes to build fine works of art. This was actually the first and only 1/4 scale car he built. He is really into building scale ships now. Very cool guy! He was just ready to move on. His passion is building the stuff, not collecting it so much I guess.

Yes, he must have spent countless hours on this piece. I just cant stop starring at it. He even made the front axle tilt so when you steer it does not lift the other wheel of the ground. It is also supposed to make it track straighter down the strip. He really thought out the car very well. Even the radio was modified to make "shut down" easier.

He should have put zoomie-style header on it. Also, did he modify the oiling on the rear end?

Yes the rear was modified for oiling and venting. He started to make zoomies but I guess they did not look right. Then he realized that the power with them is not so great and he had intentions on racing the car. He thought the tuned pipe would produce more power. He blacked it out and tucked it into the chassis to hide it. I think its a good job, but for a shelf queen ones gotta wonder what zoomies would look like...
