Very nice, can't wait to see t painted! Why is it so cloudy, is protective film still applied?

NO I just scotch bright paded it to get it ready for paint I found this method makes the paint I use stick better I use faskolor. It works great every time I even tint the windows with it. I will post a pic of it after I paint it.

Faskolor is a good brand of paint, but I personally think you would achieve a deeper color depth and a higher standard clear coat using DuPont automotive finishes..

I would also recommend you clean the surface with DuPont Plas-Stick # 2320S and # A-2320S
And use DuPont Plas-Stick # 2322S Adhesion Promoter for Plastics.. I have spray many types of plastic items over the years and have found that DuPont products can't be beat... Not only do they look awesome and hold up very well.. But they also stand behind there product with a 5 year warranty.. '' Providing it's applied correctly ''

You name it, I've sprayed it.. I'm just dedicated to all the fine products DuPont has to offer the automotive industries and swear by there products..

I'm just expressing my point of view on this painting project guy,, That's all. No matter what brand you use I'm sure it will look sharp!

Now that looks killer!!

I had some 1/10 bodies made by a mate out of mylar, not Polycarb...I had to rough them up on the inside to get the paint to stick, too. Try looking for Tamiya paints dedicated to polycarb, they start their part number with "PS" especially made to bond with polycarbonate.

If the body is GE Lexan, you should only be looking at paint formulated for Lexan, namely the Pactra Polycarb racing finishes, Parma FasKolor, or Tamiya Polycarbonate finishes.

Other types of paint, even automotive paints will simply NOT stick to Lexan.

I have never roughed up the inside of a Lexan body to make the paint adhere better, but if this works for you, go for it!
