I dont know if I would call this one a "bargain" I probably paid what its worth considering some of its accessories. I have wanted one of these for some time, so its a welcome addition!

I think this is their first model. Early 80's... I really like these. Good find.

I agree Mike they are nice to have. Is this one a chain drive? I think I see a sprocket on the rear axle.

Just curious as I have one of those also but in a little worse shape. But hope to get it into shape sometime this winter after some other projects get finished.

yea, its chain. The sprocket is aluminum. I dont know if they came that way though. This one will clean up really good. Should be easy. Think I might do it sooner then later.

Hi Mike, New to your wonderful board here, gotta love the big stuff, I recently picked up one of these older wcm cars and could use some pictures and specs if possible, whoever had it in the past hacked off the front torsion tubes and wondering if I could get some length and diameter info along with some close up pics, they also hacked of the front top wing mounts and I believe the front wing mounts. Also if you could point me in the direction of anyone who may have parts they would want to part with it would be greatly appreciated for any help.

Thats a bummer they hacked it up. But unfortunately, a lot of these old cars were tweaked one way or another.

It sucks, but ebay is the best place to find parts. Gotta keep at it every day...
