MRS QSL Raco indy car special edition
MRS QSL scored this wicked sweet Z-line indy car body with her name and her as the driver!! This is an indy car chassis that she restored a couple years ago. Polished A arms, front disc brakes, PBS polished rear... all the good stuff!

Like mike said, but I would not really recomend it to anyone. Its also very undersized and required some modification. I am also sure if the car was to be driven, the body would blow up!

Phew! That's a relief!!KnoxMotorsports wrote:WOW ,,I take it back keep your arm .....LOL
I think I now understand the passion Mike has for these cars. If anyone touches this one, THEY'LL lose an arm.
Re: MRS QSL Raco indy car special edition
Nice.
Looks like you got my name on the car as well. Does that mean I get to drive it?

Mrs QSL: Now that's a very fine looking car ..... I love the paint job. I hate to be a pest ... but is there any chance of a few shots with the body shell removed??

Unfortunately the memory card does not like my computer, so QSL would have to take new pics. I pulled a few off of the Quarterscale Legends site though. Let's see if I can figure out how to post them...kevin wrote:Mrs QSL: Now that's a very fine looking car ..... I love the paint job. That body would need to be sanded down and such to re do. I sent it to a friend for a spare. I still have 2 new black plastic unpainted ones and of course the fiberglass ones. We also have one complete indy new with some polish work and one I am putting together that will be all stock and new.

Funky, you are right about it being the Hardees body. I honestly don't know where that body is these days. I'm sure Mike does.
I believe the reason for the new body is because Mike O. only paints Lexan. The Hardees was fiberglass or ABS (something not clear). Also, the Z-line car has a special place in my heart so this was an extra special gift to me.
Kevin, thanks. I didn't realize how much work it was to restore a car until I worked on this one. Mike is nice enough to give me all the credit, but he had to teach me an awful lot. I had to borrow his muscle too when parts were misbehaving.
(MRS QSL makes me sound ancient. Feel free to call me Julie.)

I know where it is. I'm looking at it now.
Mike sent my Christmas present about a month ago.
