easy to be done

Post by frankkind »

did buy a technokit 1-5 scale full alloy and evo way.
did pay 500 euros for this car, also working on some 1-5 fg evo cars.
it is so easy to convert this to 1-4 scale.
most off the work whil be taking the car in parts and drawing een longer schassis plate, just draw the original plate and give it more length.
make some adaptors for the wheels and done.
body mount on it and this car whil go under a 1000 euro, but whit perfect driving abilities
just wanted to share this with you guys.

thanks Frank,
rear wheels axle wider ok, but for the front isn't there a problem with steering?
wheels have a long travel when you turn?
1000€ with your alloys rims it's cheap!

stearing no problem, the schassis is still 1-5 scale.
did get the car today and did put the wheels on.
the schassis plate i whil make new and longer for a car.
these cars are easy to buy in holland, the dutch are cheap.
want all but not pay for cars like this
did make to offers on two evo fg cars also around the 500 euro.
wenn you buy a body and some nice wheels from quarterscale.nl you will get around 1200 euro.
adaptors and schassis plate and you done.
this schassis is full alloy and very nice made.
even wenn you would get a fg car in plastic,it can can be more cheaper.

my wheels have a big offset, and the adaptors 10mm,the measerment off the mclaren is 46 cm.
wenn i measer now with no adaptors rear is already 46 cm.
wenn i make a adaptor off 15mm it whil give 30 mm total and whil give me 49cm.
wenn you take a fg truck schassis,it whil make it easier to make more width.
but i prefer a tourwagen schassis, the mclaren is 46cm and even the ferrari p4 is small.
