How long are the diffs?
I guess they are home made.. I am still on the look out for anything similar to the rc4wd diffs.. Just doesnt look like there is another option..

Re: 1/5 scale Monster Truck
Yes the cases are custom, but I'm using MCD limited Slip (posi) & gears. I'm planning on producing & selling parts by fall this year. I have enough axle parts so far to build 3-trucks. I'm currently build the first chassis now. I will post pics of that soon. Yes, the steering will be hydraulic, front steer only.
Re: 1/5 scale Monster Truck
Sorry, the diffs are 15in long. 22in total with MCD wheels & tires.

Re: 1/5 scale Monster Truck
I haven't worked on this project for a while. The next step is to establish a web site so I can better judge the interest in these axles. I will keep you in formed. At this point there are no outter axle seals, but seals could be machined into the outter axle tubes. I will post some internal pictures of the axles in a couple days.
Re: 1/5 scale Monster Truck
Everthing is made with 7075-T6 & there are skid plate mounting holes drilled & taped. Also an axle truss could easily be added.
