Nicola Tesla...father of RC

Just reading about Nicola Tesla, a man listed right up there with Thomas Edison, for his inventions. It is credited that Tesla inverted the RC system and produced his 1st RC boat in 1898......
This is it......it's actually a military device. The boat was intended to deliver a bomb, placed in the front of the unit.
Come to think of it ...some of my RC cars have been real "bombs". The tradition continues!
BTW...When did RC car racing commence......when someone built the 2nd RC car.....sorry...
