Yankee 596
Hello guys I just wanted to post up my new car and see what you guys think... So from what i can tell it's in pretty good shape other than being dirty and some surface rust on linkages, screws and a TURNFORCE issue. I have also noticed that the F7 motor might be their tuned competition version of this motor because it has a machined alum block . It also has the front brake kit minus the disc's and cables(need help on those). I think it has all the option parts that Yankee offered at the time.
Well enough with the jabber here it is.
Complete chassis shot
Front end
Rear end
F7 Motor and drivetrain
Body (Beat up but will work for now)
Well there it is guys.
So whatcha think?

Re: Yankee 596
the aluminum diff is a upgrade too. The belt drive is custom i think. That is definately a tuned motor!!! SCORE! That was a $900 option! Very, very , rare. There will be a serial number on it too. It took me YEARS to find one. Thats a carbon fiber reed that comes with them too. Motor alone is totally worth the score. Nice!!

Re: Yankee 596
I made some headway on the front end today.
This is what the Bulkheads looked like before I started
After a little work.
This is one half of the front Bulkheads assembled---Before---
---After---
Side by Side look of Bulkheads
Shocks
That's what I was able to get done today while the crazy 2 year old was sleeping.

Re: Yankee 596
I was able to get some more done this weekend.
Some of this is the same as the front, lots of cleaning, sanding and buffing.
Before
After
Side by Side
Diff rebuild
New Zenoah Clutch Assembly w/ Yankee vented clutch bell(Didn't want to fork out the cash for a "Yankee" clutch)
Chassis with Front end (I couldn't decide what to do with it so decided to polish) That took forever!!!!!
That's what I was able to get done this weekend. I should have all new screws in my hands by next weekend and start getting this thing back together.

You have a very nice car there and it's looking better the more you shine 'er up. IMHO Frank is right on with his recommendation to put a Renault Alpine body on it.
