If you ever get a chance, look on YouTube for these Nitro Powered Harleys. They hike the front wheel for about 1000 of 1320 feet and the passenger (Driver) guides the bike down the track by shifting his weight and dragging his feet. At Bristol, they were running 220MPH - faster than the Pro Stock Cars. Pretty Sick. Apparently, it's the first year they allowed parachutes. Not sure what the holdup was. These things are entertaining.
One of the drivers asked me if I wanted to drive the thing. I told him that I prefer a roll cage at those speeds. He said it's like grasping the rollcage of a Top Fuel dragster and holding on. Sounds like a death wish to me.
