Love the pics. Would love to build a cackle car. That will never happen. Doing 1/4 scale drag cars keeps me broke. This years new car is just about ready for testing. Got a few new things that we are trying. Hope at least one works to make the car worth building. The race at Lynwood on the weekend of August 7 is looking to be huge. Should be in excess of 30 1/4 scale drag cars on hand. Lynwood is a great track that is first class all the way. Serious racing with a family atmosphere. Bring your camera. Your gonna want to show all your friends just what they missed. Just a little teaser here on next years new car. Its something that i have wanted to build for a long long time.Lots of nostalgia and scale. I have to get a decent camera. When i do i will start posting pics randomely taken in my shop. I loved the FED and the and the era it came from. Thats kind of where 1/4 scale is right now. Enjoy it. John

Heres a little more info. The race is a 4 day event.. There is action going on all the time but the 8th and the 9th is when they get down to it. They also run 1/10 scale so there is always action going on. You can get a peek at the track on their web page www.lynwood rc dragway.com
Tuneups and some racing will take place on the 6th and 7th The 8th and the 9th will separate the the men from the boys The track is located at
10 Southland Drive
Lynwood Il.

Just a reminder for those who are on the fence. The Lynwood race is this weekend. Its ALWAYS great to see the racers again, The speeds and ET's have been faster and quicker than ever. More new cars, more new racers --- can't wait. The track will be in excellent condition as always. The cars and crews are eager to do battle. I will try to let the online racers know what in going on. There is plenty of room in the bleachers. We'll save a spot for you.
