Mock up of phoenix arrows
The rear for the down tube car is still being cleaned up
These cars where raced in vegas , Arizona and have racing nuances which are always interesting, the last quickdraw that i redid was the same raced out west

What is the chassis width outside to outside on the bottom part of the frame at the engine compartment?

Its 6 1/4 inchs wide, thats the no down tube chassis, and the down tube arrows is 61/8, the bullet is 51/4 on the bottom. Those measurements are from end of tube to end of tube

Dont know much about that one, it is different from my two arrows, big maestro knows a lot about these cars ,not many made! ask him. The two recent ones i have came from vegas and where raced out there, with input from the phoenix guys.

Al, I can't tell from the pic. Is the frame tig welded or brazed?

The welds look really smooth so i'm thinking brazed

Re: Phoenix bullet arrow
There were some copies of the arrow cars made after they quit racing. The arrows were all tig welded. There are a few things on the car that look out of place. But it could have been someone just changed things out. I will get Jerry to look at the pic and see if anything stands out to him about the car.
