I can tell you from experience that the new sofa is the perfect spot to sit and watch NASCAR while crocheting. Now that it's all comfy out there, I don't want to spend time in the house.

OMG!! That’s why women are not permitted in the man cave! She’s probably crocheting pink car covers with integrated tire warmers and a muffler of two.
:o

If I say Pretty Please, Can I have a green car cover?

Mike would think I was the most awesome wife on the planet if I was crocheting car covers. Nope. Just regular old blankets. It gets coooooold in that garage. This is my current project. Not sure if I love the colors though. It is actually a blanket for my son. He keeps bugging me to make one since he freezes out in the man cave. Maybe one day I'll get around to car covers. Pink, purple...lots to think about.

You just remodel your garage in a great way.

I am considering a Granite Countertop in garage...thoughts?

Menards has 96" long 26" depth granite countertops on sale for $249 with a $100 rebate, so total cost of $150. I am building my new workbench next week, and already determined that it will be 8' long and 24" deep. So this would fit perfectly. Mostly would be used for setting a few things on, laying things on while grilling, and detailing products. My project workbench is in a different area.
Thoughts? Is it a strange application for granite? Do you hate it or love it? I was considering putting down either hardwood flooring or staining some red oak. Just wondering if people shopping for houses (down the road) would be turned off by granite in the garage...even though the floor will be porcelain tile.

BTW, it also includes a 96" backsplash piece.
