Re: Quickdraw GN to Blue Thunder
Kaye if this resto on the body turns out like the Yankee f1,it's going to be superb. Is that a one off chassis? I've seen that chassis before but forgot the story behind it?
Re: Quickdraw GN to Blue Thunder
Emilio: The chassis is a Quickdraw Grand National, I think it's from 1992. They say on the internet that something like 50 examples of the chassis were produced. The chassis is very well built, I like all of the aluminum detail, particularly when it's polished.Emilio wrote:Is that a one off chassis? Re: Quickdraw GN to Blue Thunder
Kaye, there were actually only around 25 produced. They made enough parts to build 50 though.

Thank you for the info.
Re: Quickdraw GN to Blue Thunder
Front left fender restoration in progress showing re-assembled ABS plastic ' fender jigsaw puzzle pieces', fused to ABS plastic backing plates and strips (soldering iron heat source). I'm not skilled at this, I'm making it up as I go along.

Great job Kaye.

Thank you CALracing!

Do you have the spoiler or do you have to fabricate it. geoff
Re: Quickdraw GN to Blue Thunder
I'm going to make a front spoiler for the body out of ABS plastic. I've been messing around a little bit this past weekend trying out some ideas.CALracing wrote:Do you have the spoiler or do you have to fabricate it. geoff
Re: Quickdraw GN to Blue Thunder
I have the black plastic 'spoiler' that attaches to the front of chassis.
