Low budget rim with some bling

Post by RcBurnout »

Fooling around with some aluminum inserts for the old WCM aluminum rims. My plastic ones are awesome but just want to try something new. I think this is as far as I'm going to go with these.

Ok. Low budget rim with some bling. Got the numbers straight and number 2 is done. 2 to go. A little behind the scenes for you guys that refuse to buy 1000.00 rims but want a little bling. Hope this helps.

Simple process. A little drawing. A little math. Some drilling and a quick turn on the lathe to keep it all trued up.

Keep it simple.

Did the rears today. The rear inserts are 1/2 inch thick. Changed the design just a little
