dutch stockcar
I'm building a stockcar not 1/4 but 1/5. In the U.S you have the sprint cars, over here in Holland they race with stockcar f1 which Look a little bit like the sprint cars .
Here a picture of a real stockcar f1 so you guys know how it looks like. Here some pictures of the build . I have made everything from stainless steel. every part on the car like the frame and axles are made by my self.
I know my English spelling is not always good, but I do my best!
hope you guys like this car and give me your opinion about it,tips are always welcome!

Re: dutch stockcar
Thanks! The exhaust is also made out of stainless steel.
Yes I know I used that wheels for adjustments . I already have a set of aluminium rims. This car is the only one I have made. I'm working on it for a few years. because I am very busy with my job I don't have much time for it.
When I was 16 i designed and machined a independent suspension for my examination project at school.
I made it with one shock absorber that also functioned as a stabiliser.
mounted on my offroad car (fg leopard 1 )it wasn't a big success(not enough patience to adjust it) or maybe it worked better on a onroad car.
To bad I don't have any pictures of it anymore.

I love your work Daan, you are a tallented man, full size stock cars similar to these are raced in Australia, the UK and are huge in NZ,my brother raced a stockcar with a modified Morris Minor body through the 70s in NZ.
Heres a pic of my 1/12 Mardave MK2 stockcar built in the UK, I built it from a new vintage kit recently and have run it on carpet and on concrete, great fun.
1/8 nitro stockcars are big in the UK, Id love one.
Please keep updating your build, maybe you could build a few of these cars and get some club racing going?
