Currently in the process of restoring an old Yankee F1 car. The issue I've run into is finding the correct chain size that meshes with the rear sprocket. I've tried #25, which the pitch is too short, #35, again too short and too wide and a finally a single speed bicycle chain which the pitch was too long.
Does anyone have an idea of what the correct size is? Curious as to what other Yankee fellow owners are running pertaining to the chain size. Thanks

Thanks, I've emailed Laurent @ Yankee earlier, figured I'd ask here while I wait for a response from him.Kaye wrote:Contact Yankee Shop in France. They're very good at responding.

Thank you. I Should have known the chain required is metric.anytimerc wrote:https://www.usarollerchain.com/Metric-R ... s/4870.htm
Response from Laurent confirming this as well.
“Hello ,
The chains for our models are all in the step of 8mm

Re: Chain size for Yankee Concepts F1
8 mm metric pitch chain is the same as 25 pitch US. It is just longer and wider.. I'm supersized you had or found or had US chain over there. A roll is around $20 US here.
