905 Peugeot yankee

Post by chevy82truck »

I am finally posting one of my current projects. It isn't as incredible as those I have seen on this forum but like all of us it makes me happy. I am a yankee addict, well...really an rc addict like all of you.

The yankee front brakes push the front rims out a half an inch. Need to figure out how to decrease width without cutting every arm. I used carbon fiber sleeves over metal arms for a better look.

It is. I am fortunate to have one for this project. The one problem I always saw with the b30 was that a hole had to be cut for the air intake in the body. I was able to cut down the shroud to angle the intake lower so the body doesn't have to be cut.

Thanks Mike. I really have fun with these cars. I just have too many projects I want to do but so little time. It is incredible to see what everyone is building and the passion that shows in their projects. There are so many talented people building such incredible detailed models. Your testerossa looks to be a fun build. Can't wait to see its progress.

yea, one thing I did learn when I was hoarding everything... too much stuff leads to little progress or passion. A few key examples is the best way to go. You can really focus on those models until completion.

This is an absolutely wonderful looking Yankee P905. All black body, carbon everywhere, I love it. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Thank you Kaye. I've wanted one of these for quite sometime. Wasn't able to find one so I decided to build one from scratch. It's never ending though. Too many ideas and projects and not enough time.
