skellenger or similar information

Post by Dirt car »

Has anyone fitted a skellenger or similar to a Gilmer Midget. Are there dimensional drawings available ?
The skellenger is still available from the like of

Or can anyone recommend something similar

Thanks

I think the rc4wd rear is your best option. Price is right and I think it will work with some axle length modification.

THE RC4wd skellenger style rear end is cheap compared to a original one. BUT It is good for looks only. You only get one change gear set. Parts do NOT interchange with original.

The RC4WD 1/4 scale Skellenger style rear end was tested (I believe) with up to about 4 or 5 HP engines, so it does perform quite well. No quick change, but for the money it's pretty good, at least I think it is, and I did buy one a year ago.

Thanks - I now think I have come up with a better way to drive the rear wheels. I'll post the information when I work it through in the New Year.
