VANN EARL SMITH

Post by Jarhead2311 »

Sad news for the Quarter scale Family. We lost one of the members of our Quarter scale community recently. I just talked to the family of Vann Earl Smith and they let me know he passed away in May of this year. I don’t know who knew Vann, but if you didn’t you really missed out. He was a big collector of anything to do with cars no matter what the size. He had been struggling with health issues for a while and finally succumbed to his illness. I just wanted to take a second to let everyone know. if you can take a second to have a moment of silence for a great man.

This is extremely sad news. Vann built some amazing model cars, his'55 Chevy was an inspiration, I've never seen one better. RIP Vann.
