From a teacher in the Nashville area:

"We are worried about "the cow" when it is all about the "Ice Cream."
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year.
The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president.
We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.
We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.
I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.
Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better
Place. He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded and he sat down.

Now is was Olivia's turn to speak.
Her speech was concise.
She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream."
She sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes!
We want ice cream."
She surely would say more. She did not have to.
A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream?
She wasn't sure.
Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it.
She didn't know.
The class really didn't care.
All they were thinking about was ice cream.
Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and
52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds.
They want ice cream.
The other 48 percent know
They're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess."

Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone ---
That they have not first taken away from someone else.

It's amazing to me how the Republicans want us to believe they've suddenly become "fiscally conservative" after ruining the economy and running up the national debt to record levels.

It's like a drunken driver who runs off the road into a ditch, then gets out and petulantly demands his car keys back... bitching about how much it's going to cost to fix this mess.

Remember last time we had a Democratic president?...we had a budget SURPLUS.... it took a Democrat to clean up after the first Bush, it'll take a Democrat to clean up after this one.

November 13, 1995: A bomb hidden in a van explodes at the US military headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killing seven, including five Americans.

February 6, 1996: President Clinton issues a waiver to lift sanctions and permit four satellites, including a Loral product, to be launched on Chinese rockets despite the January reports the China continues to export nuclear technology to Pakistan. On the same day, Clinton’s friend and Chinese Triad Mafia member Charlie Trie attends a White House coffee with Wang Jun, China’s top military industrial arms dealer, who had a multibillion dollar stake in getting access to American satellites.

March 14, 1996: The Clinton administration announces a decision to move a commercial communications satellite from the Munitions List to the Commerce Control List of dual-use items. The export license is moved from the Department of State to the Department of Commerce.

May 10, 1996: Loral completes an engineering report that instructs China how to improve its faulty rockets and missiles, including solving fatal problems in guidence systems. This assistance enhances the ability of Chinese ICBMs to hit American cities with precision.

June 25: Khobar Towers, a military housing facility in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, is attacked as a fuel truck carrying a bomb explodes, killing nineteen US Military personnel and wounding 515 more.

August 7, 1998: US embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, are bombed simultaneously, killing 224, including 12 Americans, and injuring more than 5,000. It is determined that Osama bin Laden is responsible for the attacks.

September 23, 1998: In August, a small group of presidential advisors met with Clinton, reportedly with evidence the bin Laden wished to obtain weapons of mass destruction and chemical weapons to use against US installations.

September 11, 2001: terrorists, coordinated by Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda network, attack New York’s World Trade Center and the Pentagon by flying hijacked American commercial passenger aircraft into the buildings.

This Professor is a Genius!!!

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.



The scores never increased as bickering,
blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that.

This is what Mr. Obama is going to do to our Country!!!!

This is my president he has 4 wives, several girlfriends, 20+ children(from various woman)
was standing trial for corruption.(his accomplice was convicted) . he has a 737 several
$10m homes. his education is grade 5 and he used to be a goat hearder. he handed out free tshirts and food parcels donated by charities and now he is the leader of the richest country in africa.
