Sorry if this has been asked before...I seem to recall that this question was asked before, but I can't find the thread... may have been on the old board.
What would be the best way to strip down a previously powdercoated tube chassis? Chemical or abrasive? Some sort of sandblasting or a bunch of sandpaper? Or is it easiest to just try to smooth everything out by hand-sanding and then priming / re-painting?
I'd like to start fresh, I have a local powder-coating shop here, but I've never RE-done a chassis.
Thanks for any and all help. This is quite out of my "field of experience".
