1/4 scale shocks

Can someone explane how take a 1/4 scale shock apart to reseal or replace o rings or packing? All my shocks on my new era stadium truck leak and need to be fixed. It looks like I need to unsolder the piston from the rod to take apart but not sure, and once apart what is used to seal? Any help would be nice thank you.

do your shocks have a compression fitting screwed into the shock body where the shaft goes through?
