1-5 scale to 1-4 scale

did change a 1-5 scale carson schassis into 1-4 scale for my friend the body builder.

making prototype to use 1-5 scale parts,alloy or plastic standard parts to use.

That is ingenious! Very good idea. And, I bet the car will handle and drive excellently, like a simply longer-wheelbase 1/5 scale car.

I wonder if you could do the same thing with an HPI Baja 5T? Making a quarter-scale offroad truck out of a fifth-scale truck? The chassis are a bit more complex than just a new flat "pan" but it's the same concept.
