wicked RARE Yankee Pajero
just scored this one. Its very interesting. I think its the yankee prototype thats shown in their literature and posters. The body appears to be fiberglass too. More to come when it arrives.

Re: Crystal ball still working... barely
Just got home and its not the same paint theme in the literature that i saw, but i do think its fiberglass which would mean its a prototype? We will see when it hits the dock. I have always wanted one of these. Here is a pic of the poster on my door with one shown. They also show this in the back of the catalog in a group of misc. pics. I have never seen an offering for it for sale though.
I did not get the blazer. That was put there just to show size. Nice rig though!!!

its not FG. The FG looks different. This one has yankee wheels and yankee gas tank, yankee suspension. Here is another shot.

I'm also Mike's opinion, the foto is out of a RC-Car magazinr from 1991.
It's definitely the same car.

Re: Crystal ball still working... barely
The auction listed it as a tamiya. They did not know it was a yankee.
Thanks for coming aboard Oliver!

Yes, I was. Thank's Mike for the recognition.
As I'm just in negotiations to get my first full Quarterscaler, I have already a Lauterbacher L1 Mini, I had not the money for. So I decided to give Mike the Link. A min later a got a mail from
Mike, he had it already. So we should call him 'Quick Mikey', like the ever champ Mike Doohan.
Thank's for beeing bidded welcome, Mike.

Re: wicked RARE Yankee Pajero
recieved it today and this thing is a MONSTER!!! Very nice shape for its age and yes, its all fiberglass. Very nice quality as well. The hood and rear hatch are removable. There is also a tag inside it bonded to the body that has a serial number and says some other stuff. I wont have time until tonight to really inspect it, but here are some bad photos. notice the tires, awesome truck tires!

The tag on the inside says "sonauto ralli art" doing a quick search it looks like this model may have been distributed by mitubishi through their ralli art division???

Re: wicked RARE Yankee Pajero
here are some much better pictures. This is a real special one. The quality of the body is amazing. Lots of detail and a very good layup on the fiberglass. The truck is almost in perfect condition. I would say a 8 or 9 out of 10.
