This is the article that got me hooked on 1/4 scale sprintcars. At the time I was racing 1/10 scale sprintcars, here in Sydney Australia. It was not till 10 years later in August 1998 that I became the owner of a 1/4 scale sprintcar. It was a locally made, Terry Bennett Bullet. I now have three 1/4 scale sprintcars, including a PRO1 SP1 from the USA.
