Raco Sprint Body

I am restoring a Raco Sprint car and I want to strip the coats of paint off the body. I do not know what the body is made of so can someone who knows tell me how to remove the paint and what stripper wont hurt the body. Thanks Bill.

i wouldnt use stripper. I would just sand it to a nice finish and primer it.

I know this is an old thread but I've used oven cleaner to remove paint from plastic....it does pretty well and don't melt the plastic...you have to let it sit on there a bit...believe it or not Purple Power will strip certain kinds of paint too...it just takes a couple days...
