Its looking great MRO. Quick queston tho.......do you plan producing fiberglass bodies or will the be lexan?

It's a 25.50" wheelbase, although that can be "cheated" a little longer or shorter by judicious trimming out of the wheel wells. Front and rear track width is approx. 17.50" at the fender "flares."

I'm NOT going to produce this body.

However, I'm turning this plug over to Mike Casey (QSL) next week, maybe you can talk him into producing them and selling them through LRU. That's the preliminary plan, anyway.

Definitely fiberglass. I only WISH I knew some cost-effective way to produce Q-scale bodies out of Lexan.
I can paint lexan. Fiberglass...I'm not so good with that.

o boy now i don't know what to do make my late model look like a ASA late model with Mikes new trans am firerbird body like DW's Mountin Dew ASA or go for Dick Trickles ASA old short track car with this new 69 body ..hmmm maybe just make another frame and build two of them. so i have 3 full sets of rims made already guess i need to make 2 full sets of wide five hubs now rather than 1 set ...boy or boy once you start you can;t stop ..lolol

it begins to look nice! :thumbleft:
i like curved sides that look a little better that our muscle body
lexan is not so exenpensive, if your fiberglass mould has a "good" shape ( no "cons undercut", not sure of translation) you just have to fill it with PU charged resin... not very cheap but you can form 50 bodies on a day after that!!! (ok, it's more difficult to sell them that to build them  )
Stef
PS don't forget the core before filling! our muscle mould 4/5 cm thickness will weight 100kg... :!:

the plug arrived today!!! There is a very small amount of damge. But really nothing to speak of. I think people will really like this body. Although its not EXACTLY a camaro, i would say it is 100% muscle car. Mike really did a great job on this one. The lines and body panels look great.

Thanks mike!

Ah, that's good news that it arrived (semi) intact! Hope the transit damage is not too bad, hopefully nothing a little glue and spot putty couldn't fix.

very small cracks on the bottom and only a couple. No problems at all. Definately not from that packing job you did. I could tell you really wanted it to make it here!!!

Here are a few pics of it. Hmmmmm, think when i get mine, its gonna be a challenger.
