...and a 'smell' of chassis ,a little before the race, using cy 460 ( 45cc ) or zenoah (26 cc, with a simple adaptor ).

Man, this is what I like about quarter scale - functional craftsmanship you don't see anywhere else. Thank you for posting these, it inspires me to do better

Firstly I made my wheels, using Paul's half rims with centres of mine but.... and because of my madness, I make new ones, using billet alum 6082.
A lot of lathe work but.....the arch-enemy of good , is the better one.

I like this way to take an axle.
Strong, works perfect (on road use ), no lenght's limit, easy homede built.

Some photos oft he new chassis plate and bumbers and the pipe.
Pipe is ready to tig welding. Iner pipes and diaphragms to their possition.
