It resides in Saudi-Arabia. The car has a new owner now. He called me and I sent him the user manual as the original one was not found during the sale.

Grille made out of aluminum, this is what it looks like on the body:

Here's the original 1:1 Mk1 Ford Escort grille:

Patience please.

I will get videos. The body is in the paintshop and I'm waiting for the sensors to arrive for the engine monitoring unit. It measures 2 x CHT and 2 x EGT and RPMs.

New starting system designed, manufactured and installed. Battery drill is the tool spinning the long starter axle facing rearwards. Tried to start it last night but the engine failed to start so far. Starter worked very well and it is easy to use.

The engine is RCS Showcase 100cc twin. I will take measurements for you a bit later on. Clutch is Arkansas 3-shoe racing unit originally made for BZM 50cc minimoto race engine. You are planning to do something? :D

What's the distance of the outer sides of the frame rails in the engine compartment? Or do you plan to put the engine more towards the rear? The width from plug to plug is maybe 9-10 inches or so.

I can measure it but this engine is not on the market anymore. Or maybe it is in China, I don't know.

No hijacking by you Funky, take it easy. We are talking about engines.

I don't like that engine in the picture. Reasons:
- it is not a case reed engine, doesn't have reed valve at all
- exhaust on the different side to intake, means you have to mount it higher in the frame to get clearance for exhaust pipes

What about using an inline engine? Longitudinally?

After a long fight with ignition problems:

This is the FIRST EVER start of this engine. All tuning is in the woods. Only assumptions so now the tuning starts because it works. We got it running (I'm the tall guy in the video) but halfway of the video one of the spark plugs die so the latter part it only runs on one cylinder. Temps 130 Celsius. Revs like crazy, clutch engages at 6000 rpms. All systems working but I need to make the starter system better.

Second video of the the same situation as the first one:
