Thanks for the compliments.

Lightlenses are ready now. Finally I know how to make them.
The new seats getting a furnishing by a compagny. Tried to do it by myself but it is nothing for me. I'm not a leatherguy

Hello,thanks for your kind words.
The chassis is not scrapping the floor....

My goal is to make competitive 1/4 rc cars.
In competition it is normal the front is 10mm above the ground and the rear 12mm.
The lower the chassis is, the better the handling.
But everything is adjustable, so if wished the groundclearance can be much higher.
It is simple to adjust: turn the rings on the shocks.
Same for the damping, in/out hard/soft etc. Great stuff.
I like my cars as low as possible when I drive with them.

Both.
Everybody can make the choice what he/she wants to do with it.
Put it on the shelf, race with it or just drive around for fun.
But in my opinion it has to be the best :)

I have to admit that this kind of cars are not competitive with others regarding selling.
Pricetag is too high. Especially in comparing with the FG/HARM etc. the 1/5 and 1/6 cars.
In this range is not much for sale and I'm sure not on this scale, quality, details etc.

But again: it is not my goal to be competitive with FG/HARM regarding sales.
Would be very nice but not possible.

My goal is to make 1/4 rc cars with great quality, details, which can win races from cars like the usual 1/5 rc cars.
So: modern 1/4 rc cars with al the adjustment possibilyties like the modern 1/5.
Believe me, not an easy job.

To make beautifull rc cars which drive like poopie, is easy. Cheap too by the way.

Racing this kind of cars can be a expensive hobby, I know.
But I know people who racing 1/1 cars that are so expensive and rare(collectables) and have lot's of fun.
The risk is the thrill/kick?

Yes there will be a pricelist, already busy with it. Cost a lot of time.
I can show prices already but have to re-calculate.
And I want to make a profesional photoshoot and movie of it before showing the list.
Everything will be possible, from a complete build one or separate parts.
Building it yourself will be much cheaper, it is a lot of work to make it like the pics.
The body and interieurbox is one part and ready, deliverd in any wished colour.(body/box separate is al so possible)
All scale parts needs a paint and or chromejob.
Polishing all chassis parts and rims is al so a lot of work, same for all the wiring.
For example: assemble the steeringwheel cost me more than half a day...

OK, job is done, finished the job. 10 months, full time.
Finished the last issues, it runs perfectlly.
Made a nice deal to make a photoshoot, that's it..
So this will be the last photo's of this project, the black and white.
Some photo's of the classic Racing Britisch Green one will follow.
And a notification of the download link regarding the profesional photo/video shoot.

Happy to close this project, but after so long it feels strange...
Many thanks to all people who watched this tread.
It is nice to read all the positive reactions.

Pricelist of the AC Cobra and parts can be downed from http://www.quarterscale.nl (news)

The new project has been already started: the AC Daytona.

Nope! No need for Chucky :D
It is realy very good rideable. The electronics are programable to get the right setup to get it as you want it.
And, you can make the choice ragrding the Volts you use...
Easy!
So the driver can get what he wants. Fast, slow, agresive, soft etc. etc.

Hey Paul , how many volts are you running? In my drag car with the same speed control I run 8s and at about half throttle and 40 lb. if I pull full throttle it gets very loose. I can imagine yours will do more because of the weight difference. Great looking project, thanks for sharing. Geoff
