Hi Emilio:
Thanks for sharing pics of your Indy Roadster, it's going to be a great project. Have you thought about what color scheme you'll use for it?

Hi Emilio:
I looked through my drive and found an article about Jeron cars, unfortunately the tech specs section didn't mention anything about frame tube diameter.

Funky, do me a favour:
Post pics of the body. Profile shot and other ones too. What's the overall length of that body?

Re: Indy Roadster
Funky,
I think your body's rear section has better profile contour as the original. It has slightly more curve and in my opinion it looks much better that way. Looking very good.

Re: Indy Roadster
The color combo and scheme is very good. I painted my old superkart with the same combo and didn't have to wait for a very long time to sell it. Your car will look awesome. Will your main color be blue or white?
Re: Indy Roadster
Very very nice project!

Emilio:
This is developing into a really fine looking model ..... of the 'less is more' genre. Keep up the good work.

Re: Indy Roadster
Funky; a question?
How big the inner dia of this pipe that you have on is compared to the normal exh pipes for the engine you are using? If it is tha same size and that long then it will cut the performance. Not much but it will. If it is even slightly bigger then it does not matter performance-wize.
So you are thinking between pull-start and electric? Onboard eletric or battery drill with gearing? What are the problems related to this and your thoughts how to solve it? Pictures?

Re: Indy Roadster
Have you considered a roto start like on helicopters?
Just an idea as you don't want to take the body off...
