Re: Indy Roadster
Funky monk,
I check in once in awhile. I raced 1/4 scale a few years ago, (think front engine WCM stock cars with full interior and driver figure) don't have one now but the itch never goes away.
Started racing before the first Super Nationals and had a ball racing almost every class of 1/4 scale over the years.
I used to hang with Ron Schoeb back when he built an off set super modified that was wicked looking. I had an Arrow super with Raco Indy car wing. Lost all pics in a couple "fires" (ex girlfriend, ex wife).
Sorry for the thread jack here....
When I see great builds such as yours I just have to chime in when I can. You are building a beautiful car here.
And then you make me start looking around at Q scale again.....

I also thought the original wheels looked better.
Re: Indy Roadster
I came across with this kind of an engine in the net:
Fuji BF-25EI 25cc 4-Stroke

Here's something about the Honda fourstroke in an FG Marder. Should give you a good idea of the size and performance and sound:FuNkY mOnK wrote:Thanks Jariv and Showa , I would love to see this Honda 23 cc

Emilio: Any more progress on your Indy Roadster?
Re: Indy Roadster
We use the Honda 4 stroke engine, this engine is a very pleasant and easy to use!
Re: Indy Roadster
Know that the Honda GX25 is very compact! You can also position it horizontally!
I show you how with the help of photographs.

Re: Indy Roadster
WOW a work of art! Are you going to make brakes for it?
Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together.

Your Indy Roadster has a 'factory look' about it. It's quite an achievement. Well done!
