Wow, Stoney...those look the goods....
Gday 2pock,
I made a wheelie bar for my rail, but instead of scale realism, I went toward the RC look.
My wheels come from the wheelie bar from a Traxxas Jato (only coz they are red)
the sides are hand cut n filed from old road signs (aluminium)
All my road signs have come from the Council guys pulling down old ones and putting up new ones - I didn't nick them!
Thanks to the council guys for giving me the old ones BTW
I just put a piece of 1/4" polycarb on the top for a surface to bounce the chute off, and stiffen things up a bit. The cross braces are S/S tube, threaded to M5 to take the M5 S/S button head Socket head cap screws & the wheels sit on a 3/16' threaded rod with S/S tube spacers... - I hope this gets your brain ticking into how you could make some for yourself...
cheers
