Don Garlits' Museum of Drag Racing - Ocala, Florida

Here's a few pictures inside the Don Garlits museum of drag racing. Big Daddy also has an antique auto museum right next door. I went to his museums in the 1990's and it's much different today. Don has a LOT of stuff. This is just a sampling of the pictures.

I used to work with Scott Hanna, and his father owns the Eastern Raider Jet Funny Car now in the museum. It's the first car to place the Jet Engine in the center of the car (they used to place them to the side). A full-scale MALTA Jetforce Car.

I live in Florida and I haven't been there since the late 90s my grandfather and I used to go there every few months, my grandfather was friends with Mr. Garlit and was a huge race fan. After looking at this I think I am taking the kids up there at the end of the month. Thanks for the pictures you surfaced a lot of wonderful memories.
