Conley funny car
Who scored the sweet funny car with the conley in it? I would love to see more pics of it. I would think a car this killer would be worth over 5k.

Re: Conley funny car
they just layed the engine in the car for the picture. The listing was just for the engine and the car was just extra with it. I think they sold it for pretty cheap...

Oh i see.. I thought that perhaps it was on an angle because frame rail clearance or something.

Re: Conley funny car
I stumbled onto this thread doing a Google search on 1/4 scale drag cars.
Funny I found this thread as we just had that car in the shop. We repaired the frame rails that were cut out and mounted the engine/transmission.
The car is owned by a NHRA Professional driver here in Maryland.
As I understand it, after leaving the shop, the body was sent out for paint and the chassis will be powder coated and very well may end up for sale once completed and running.
Edit: BTW, this car was previously powered by a string trimmer/weed whacker engine. The Conley engine is not true to scale for this chassis (a bit small).

Re: Conley funny car
Thanks for posting this. I heard that a full size racer may have bought the car. Kinda sad to hear its getting painted though. Had a nice time period paint job on it.
