 so it was you!!! I was bidding on it too. I was actually the first bid and then I bid the last 1/2 hour or so and you still outbid me. You got it for a great deal. I would have bid on it higher, but deep down inside I knew that I did not need it. I got too much junk here as it is!!

Cant wait to see some pics once you get it. Looks like it will clean up nice! I also dont think its a GN. Looks like its a US muscle chassis. A corvette or camaro body goes on that.

Funky is really putting together a nice "Top Shelf" collection. Very well thought out purchases and at good prices. Just shows that you can have a premium collection on a budget! 8)

I dont know much about the serial numbers. I have seen them on the chassis before but I dont know if anyone has the log book. Probably only new era. They did offer cars setup for conley engines.

Oh, just noticed the question above. Yea, its the pillars. They had a major rake on them so the chassis would fit the corvette and camaro bodies properly.

Hmmm, that C could stand for that?

I have molds for the firebird body and camaro. I did recieve a Iroc body for my birthday one year. They are wicked hard to find. I have only seen 2 in my life and I have one of them. They were made by wcm.

dimensionally they are about the same but the camaro has much less detail. The camaro looks good... until you see this one. I wish there were more of these. The thing that sucks is you have to cut and glue this thing together just like their 34 ford body. I have put it off for a long time. Just waiting for the right car to put it on i guess..

why not start making these with the permission of wcm? I love the details? do you think wcm has the mold for these? I take it selling it is out of the question or would you?

from what i understand the mold was destroyed... I dont know too much history on these. The problem with remaking these even in fiberglass is the cost of the mold. I just dont think there is enough of a market to get your money back out of one. You would need to sell atleast 10 bodies to just break even.

You guys know me, i dont like to sell any of my stuff. :D

Just saw this... What a FIND!!!

You've got the foundations of a truly CLASSIC car there... can't wait to see how you finish it. Thinking street/stock, custom, or competition look?
