Re: Conley engine owners
I think 3k is fair for a old version with exposed lifters. I think 4k was fair for one with as many modifications as it had from a machine shop. Just depends. You should have listed on QSL, I am sure someone would have snagged it.

Re: Conley engine owners
well Im excited to say that IM A CONLEY OWNER!!!!!! (well half a conley) This engine was GIVEN to me ON 2 conditions...............That I share photos with the members and that If I wanted to part with it the original owner would get first crack. Yes its a static engine. If I can gather the parts to make it run it would be a bonus but for now im STOKED that I can say I own one.

Re: Conley engine owners
Hey Bull dog, according to my research, non-blower conley's have sold between $2,500 - 4,000 while blowered versions sold between $4,000 to 5,500 depending on the condition. This is only from 2012 - 2015.
Jay C, the car and engines look great!! I hope you find all the parts you need, Gary and Mike might be very helpful depending on the parts you need. I am looking forward to see how you complete the car!

Hey Bull Dog, out of curiosity, were did you get all those past prices? did you find them on a website or did you note them one by one as they popped up?
Re: Conley engine owners
A fair bit Mike. Im sure Bulldog will chime in with what It needs. Ill start collecting parts as they become available. I figured being around here would be a good place to source everything. Thank guys QSL is helping me finish this car 1 piece at a time. A big thanks to bull dog. A top bloke and a wealth of knowledgeMike Casey wrote:Looks great. Congrats! What do u need to make it run?
Re: Conley engine owners
The same guy who Mike bought his engine from is also selling a half machined casting set. Though it might help. type in conley engine on ebay and you''ll see it
Re: Conley engine owners
yeah Ive looked at the engine on ebay. It missing the same components that mines also Missing. Im going to do some more investigating on a few things. Mainly the camshaft, lifters and rocker arms I feel are going to be the biggest challenge. Man this thread has really taken off over the last few weeks. Good work members good to see the enthusiasm

Re: Conley engine owners
Unfortunately the stuff I have won't help you. Those are going to be pretty hard to find, but certainly not impossible. That ACE guy bought a bunch of the conley old stock. Perhaps he has something?
In other news, I received my purchase over the weekend and all I can say is WOW. This is one of the nicest conley engines I have ever set my eyes on. I think she may just stay on the stand as display. Very clean and nice example!!!!
