Over the Easter long weekend, the Australian 1/4 Scale Speedway Title was held at the Penfield Model Park, Adelaide, South Australia. It was a 2000 mile round trip tow for me and worth every mile, to be involved in the Show. Here are some of the 1/4 scale sprinters that took part.

I hope you picked #7. It would give you greater odds of winning. I see a pile of #7 cars there! #4 seems to be popular too.

As it was my first Race Meet in over 2 years, due to my health issues, my expectations were not high! I did make the 12 car A Main, in the last spot. I've always said it is "better to be lucky than good".....and I was out of the 30 lap Final on lap 2, when another car spun and terminally damaged my sprinter. Hey...that's racing!

The cars came from different States of Australia, so numbers are often duplicated. Here's my car....before the weekends racing.

No after shots! Looked about the same....just a little dirtier and the right front wheel hanging off! I hate that!
All fixed now for Sunday's race meet in Sydney.
