I'm guessing the master craftsman that made this kit doesn't require gobs of glue/filler at a forty-five degree corner when trimming out a door/window/picture frame like I do. I grew up welding/grinding/forming metal and hate finish woodwork, but I have a lot of respect for those who can do it well.
Also, drinking beer is really not conducive to calculating a proper compound miter cut (unless you have a lot of time and a substantial amount of raw material). You can make a "template" and it will still end up wrong, leading to another beer. Rinse and repeat.
