I will be building a funny car for a customer and will document the complete build. I have never built a drag car so I'm looking forward to the challenge. The car will be built as a replica car so it will have a lot of detail and the awesome Conley 609.

I started working with Gary a couple of years ago and he has been a great mentor and friend. Being able to put a working V8 engine in my models has opened up the design flood gates and imagination.

I hope you enjoy the build and any suggestions and comments are welcome. I will be starting this and several other projects and will show them all here.

I will be producing some jigs and fixtures for the funny car so it can be re-produced. I was going to build off of prints but thought there could be an interest for more chassis and cars so going to build jigs. Here is the mock up 609 engine (figured everyone wanted to see it) This will be a fun build for me and also a way to understand these cars better. Enjoy....
